What a lot of people need ( including myself in some areas!) is an eye wash.
Remember this from Chemistry class? I do!
What we need is to change our perception - of ourselves, others, and situations- get them in line with God's by the washing of the word being transformed by the renewing of our minds.
The person that hurt you? They're most likely hurting, and in need of love.
The " I'm possible" situation? All things are possible with God!
Feeling worthless? Alone? Forgotten?You're not.
Poison comes into our hearts and mind via our eyes and ears. We hear ( you're stupid! Slow! Worthless! ) or see ( failure as final. People being mean spitefully.) things a certain way continually and train ourselves to perceive it a certain way. We're human. We - especially females- over complicate and over analyze everything.
The person who is just completely worn out and tired and lucky to be walking who accidentally bumped into you at the store? We take it personally. They had a vendetta against us. Not they just need diapers for their crying baby.
When we're on the Damascus road- the brain trip to not seeing a situation or people right, the light hurts. We see ourselves in a mirror when the light comes. We face TRUE reality. And the scales coming off hurt. But after- life's changed. We can't help but love, once the veil's been removed and we've spent time with the bridegroom and realize how much he loves his bride - us, and those around us.
Take the veil off, beloved, and let you groom lavish His love on and through you!
